Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties
- Vacuum clean carpets, rugs and clean floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings
- Empty and clean trash containers
- Clean washbasins, toilets, mirrors, tubs, and showers
- Wipe down glass surfaces and windows
- Make-up beds and change linens as required
- Sort, wash, load and unload and fold laundry
- Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
- Monitor and report necessary room repairs and replacements
Qualifications and Skills
- 18 years of age or older.
- Previous Housekeeping experience preferred
- Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by the hospitality industry.
- Looking for someone to work between 24 and 32 hours.
- Must be available to work on weekends.

Front Desk Attendant
Job Summary
To check-in and check-out hotel guests in accordance with Superior Stay standards and act as an information resource for guest inquiries.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Check-in and check-out of hotel guests.
- Answering guest inquiries and giving proper directions.
- Maintaining guest mail, messages, and packages.
- Assist in maintaining guest credit reports, housekeeping reports, special room assignments, coupon issuance.
- Approving room charges/posting room charges.
- Balancing clerk/cashier postings, cash and credit transactions.
- Use a computer and other general office equipment.
- Interact with all other hotel departments.
- Filing registration cards and related hotel reports and paper documents.
- Issuing keys.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
- Assist Housekeeping Staff with room inspecting as needed.
Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking 10 – 30 ft.
- Frequently hearing, listening, seeing, and speaking to communicate with guests and employees.
- Frequent writing, reading, manual dexterity, use of a keyboard.
- Constantly planning, remembering/paying attention to/observing details, making decisions, following directions.
- Knowledge and use of computer skills, including the Hotel system.
- Occasionally sitting.
Working Conditions
- Front Desk and back office of a Boutique Hotel
- Working with others and sometimes alone.
Qualifications and Skills
- 21 years of age or older.
- Previous hotel experience preferred.
