Modeled after some of the great beer fests of Europe, the Festival of Angry Bear in Marquette is a showcase of barrel-aged beer, live music, and delicious food.
Each year in April, the Festival of the Angry Bear comes out of hibernation and takes over Spring Street in downtown Marquette. To ensure everyone can enter the Festival, there are no tickets or charges for it – it’s free and open to all. That said, if you want to imbibe those puckering brews, you’ll need to purchase a festival cup once, and you can enjoy a heartier fill each time you belly up to the bar plus, there’s a feast of barrel-aged sour beer, including the Angry Bear Oud Bruin. Isn’t that great? This year’s Festival of the Angry Bear lineup will include Lalo Cura, Blanco Suave, Public Access, Steve Leaf & the Ex-Pats, Charlie Millard Band, Trailer Hitch, Brother Elsey, and WhoDat Brass!
