Jawbone Trail Marquette Mountain Resort

Jawbone is the most fun trail with a pure 4 min descend. Jawbone is the new top to bottom flow trail built at Marquette Mountain Resort. Fast, flowy, lots of optional side hits and features. You can use this mountain bike primary trail downhill only. It takes a bit to learn the lines but, it’s a fantastic trail. It is a trail for riders of all skill sets.

Zueg’s Trail Marquette South Trails

2.6 km | Difficulty – Moderate to Hard

Also called the New Yellow, Zueg’s Trail is longer and a trail with a flow. Zueg’s Trail is a 2-mile popular blue singletrack trail located near Marquette. You can use this mountain bike trail downhill only. It has 2-hour uphill hiking. On average, it takes 8 minutes to complete this Trail.

Down Dogger Benson Grade – South Trails

The Down Dogger at the Marquette South Trails. Down Dogger is the long-flowing Trail in the Marquette. It is also ridden as a quick loop from the main parking area or a shuttle from the top of Benson Grade. Most of the part in the Trail is excellent smooth soil except for a few rock slabs, outcroppings, and Fall colors.

EZPZ – North Trails

EZPZ is a 2-mile popular blue singletrack trail located near Marquette. You can use this mountain bike primary trail in both directions. On average, it takes 12 minutes to complete this Trail.

Smiley – South Trails

3.8 miles | 9 minutes

1.4 km | Difficulty – Moderate to Hard

At first, the Trail is level on the roll-out, followed by a gradual descent with the sloped, curved track. Forest through there has an open floor with Fall colors covering.
The second part of the Smiley has a bumpy role in the Trail and a couple of short climbs that might need a little more than a couple of pedal strokes.
The trees open up a bit, and the understory becomes denser with fall colors at trail level.

Greywalls – South Trails

4.6 km | Difficulty – Moderate to Hard

The west Greywalls with twists and turns in the dark forest along an extended rock wall on narrow singletrack. The route follows the top of the drainage, turning north and descending through the trees to a road intersection.
The canopy is slightly open, and the Trail is more roots than rocks. As the route reaches its northernmost point, it bends back to the south. You’ll encounter some open woods. The eastern side of Greywalls starts at the lowest end of the Trail and crosses with fall colors in areas with short boardwalks.

Morgan Creek Loop – South Trails

12.7 km | Difficulty – Moderate to Hard

The Green Loop starts on a scenic trail along the ridges above the Carp River, rolling out on the contour on a somewhat smooth trail. It starts descending with a twist near a bench at the river near Morgan Creek Falls. Then the route begins a climb out of the drainage with a steep pitch at first and then moderately to an intersection with the Pipe Dreams and Easy Street. Stay straight on Two Track Alley and cross the Pioneer Loop twice before turning right on Smiley. Stay straight at Pioneer Overlook Connector and Porky Pine Pass.
The slow descent begins with some carving singletrack that winds down and around the woods. You’ll find some small tabletop jumps and artificial rock roll downs throughout this section. Green Loop takes you to the fly-over with the flow and wiggling you through a more curving, smooth track till the end of the Trail.
